Practice Your Pitch events – Yes, practice makes
perfect, so they say! Before you step up to deliver your pitch on
the big day to your potential investors, try it out first!
Its’ a dress rehearsal - get the experience of
delivering your deck without the stress of the critical eye of your
prospective investors on the day of your one hour to impress!
At our future events up to three candidates get to
run through their latest pitch and invite structured feedback from
an expert panel. At the end of the pitches and feedback, just for
fun, we find out who the event attendees would vote to most likely
connect with and with whom they would connect with and/or invest
their imaginary millions!

For this introductory launch event our speakers will
be 3 of our current Panel of Experts:
Janthana Kaenprakhamroy
- CEO of Tapoly - providing Insurance on demand - multi-award
winning start-up entrepreneur who has successfully raised funds more
than once!
Janthana is listed by Forbes as number 6 of the top
100 women founders to watch, and is among the Top Ten Insurtech
Female Influencers according to The Insurance Institute. She is the
founder of Tapoly, the leading on-demand insurance company for the
sharing and gig economy, as seen in the Top 5 Insurtechs at the
European Fintech Awards 2017. She is a chartered accountant and
former investment banking professional, as well as a co-author of
the InsurTECH Book.
Jenna Davies
- Speaker and Coach for Presenting Skills
Jenna is an experienced training professional, people
development specialist and engaging public speaker. Having trained
as a Broadcast Journalist, Jenna formally worked in radio as a
sports reporter and now runs her own training and development
business focusing on public speaking and leadership coaching for
individuals and organisations.
She is a mentor, coach, consultant and speaker, and
alongside her business Jenna leads the Enterprise Programme at
Birkbeck University of London, supporting entrepreneurial students
to develop their business ideas and deliver consistently exciting
pitches, be it to a friend, a judging panel, or an investor. She
also uses her skillset to support children’s charity Make-a-Wish as
a volunteer speaker to promote their work.
John Palmer
- Founder of PYP, Chartered Director, Serial Entrepreneur,
Consultant and Mentor to Entrepreneurs and Startups since 1999!
Frequently work with senior executives, directors,
entrepreneurs and start-ups to break through to the next level.
Scoping, shaping and providing bespoke mentoring programmes for
entrepreneurs and business leaders.
